Office 365 is widely used by large organizations around the world, so it is feasible that most emails are stored in Office 365 mailboxes. Emails or messages in mailbox folders are often organized and grouped. However, when messages become outdated, they are automatically grouped into the old group by Office 365. Therefore, it becomes difficult for users to search for old messages; Originally, those who are more than three months old.

 

In addition, emails over a month old are automatically deleted by Office 365 and moved to the deleted folder. Therefore, it becomes difficult for users to find old emails. Here we will discuss the process of finding old emails in Office 365 as well as the Outlook app. 

 

How Find Old Emails Messages in Microsoft Outlook 365: -

I am going to tell about two method how to see old mail in office 365 .

*first method -Its very simple and easy by following

 the steps below you can create a search folder and

 group all old messages.

 

1-Open Microsoft Outlook 2016-2013-2010 -o365 and click Folder tab, and then select New Search Folder the click on new search folder,for reference please  see below

 2-Now, scroll to Organizing Mail in open tab and choose Old Mail. By default, Outlook group messages older than one week, you'll be able to select any period of time from which you would like to send the message. Also, if your approach has over one account, you'll select that specific email account and click on "OK".

3-On clicking Ok, you'll see that a new folder has been created and added to the Navigation Pane folder name is 
search folder  folder name will be based on the time you choose while creating a search folder see below image 

Second method :-

 1-Open Microsoft Outlook 2016-2013-2010 -o365 and click File .

2- then click account setting>account setting

4- now select all then click finish and done 

Finding Old Messages in Outlook Web App:-

The Outlook Web App is the most comfortable way to access Office 365 mailboxes. However, you need administrator permission to log into the Outlook web app. Learn how you can find deleted messages through the Outlook web app.

     Contact the administrator to ask for Outlook Web App credentials and login to the Outlook Web App.
     After logging into Outlook, you will see the folder option on the left side. Click the arrow to expand the folder.
     You will see the folder list, click more to check old messages.
     By clicking on more, you will get a folder named with your email address. Expand folder to see all your subfolders
     In subfolders, you can find all old emails within the specific folder name, such as the Inbox items will be available in the INBOX folder.

Note :- if u are using o365 then go to archive section and search your old mail as per date .

This is the only method for searching old messages in MS Outlook. If you delete this folder even after viewing the messages, only the folder are going to be deleted, not the message.
